Showed up on time set down huge sheet to keep everything clean. Had the parts. I got my little shop vac out and he vacuumed the propane stove out while it was apart. He left and it all works. We are warm again, Yahoo!
I purchased a new Lopi Bershire propane heat stove that Anderson Fireplace installed on 11/10. We recently bought a manufactured home that previously had a wood stove installed which had been removed by the former owner, leaving the hearth and chimney intact. Anderson Fireplace came promptly as scheduled and installed the new propane stove in the same location as the older wood burning stove, and was able to retro-fit an acceptable chimney vent pipe for its operation. The propane heat stove is amazing!! It heats the whole house, making it feel like we're in the Bahamas! The remote controller is easy to use to achieve the desired effect. After installation, I had to make a slight manual adjustment of the air control valve to get the combustion gas/air ratio right, but the Owner's Manual included with the stove guided me through that simple adjustment which took about 2 minutes. I am super happy with the ease of operation, clean burn, and especially the efficient transfer of heated air by the circulation fan built into the stove. The stove was a bit pricier than I expected, but was well worth the investment.
We bought a pellet stove from the Arlington store which was a pleasant experience. It is nice that they don't sub contract anything out, so the installers were employees of Anderson. Our installers were fantastic. Thank you Glen and Max! My partner and I both work from home, they were sensitive to our being on conference calls, they tarped off the floor, vacuumed out the fireplace before installing the insert and wiped it all down upon completion. I found the same stove a little cheaper elsewhere but I am very happy I made the choice to go with Anderson, comfort of mind and quality customer service are worth more than a few bucks in savings.
